The thrill of thrifting, the delight of finding a new surprising object to create with is so fun to me. That’s what happened when I can across a bin of broken vintage pocketknives.
I hand stamped the pocketknife jacket with the phrase “Wild Spirit”, so fitting, I think. The knife is brass & antique silver. Beneath it is a serial plate from a Caterpillar heavy equipment motor. I added grommets & rivets for a mixed metal style.
The bracelet band is upcycled tractor inner tube.
