This upcycled charm bracelet has an upgraded design…it’s fuller with more textures. I’ve added the combination of vintage buttons & beads of different shapes into dangling charms. Together they make a striking bold statement.

You might be surprised to learn that the red plastic is discarded automotive & heavy equipment taillights. I’ve recycled them into random pieces, then continued the process by sanding each one, drilling holes & sanded again. I love the organic shapes that make them modern & artful.

I’m also fascinated with the textures of the lens designs. It appears that different manufactures have patented their own lens style. Some have fine lines; others have wider lines with more depth & some have a smooth surface. I also value the time worn scratches & markings they’ve received from use.

I added bicycle inner tube as fringe for a whimsical fun style. I’m always trying to create styles that leave zero waste behind.
